BOGIE BOOGIE – THE MIXDOCTOR
The Chief Inspectors mix, recorded from Horizon Radio 94.5fm with a nice clean stereo signal. Features a generous amount of human beatbox and 50s movie samples, coupled with real nice soul funk music. Hat tip to John Coctosan for this information: “The Chief Inspector mix is actually called ‘Bogie Boogie Mix’ by Les Adams (the Mixdoctor) on DMC 36”. That’s the January 1986 mixes LP. Nice to get a positive ID on this one.
Tracklist: Wally Badarou – Chief inspector, Cartoon Crew – Inspector gadget, Doug E Fresh – La di da di, Doug E Fresh – The show, Full Force – Alice, I Want You Just for Me, Kurtis Blow – If I Ruled the World, Caprice – 100%, Strafe – Comin From Another Place, Aretha Franklin – Who’s Zoomin Who, Rochelle – My Magic Man, Sly & Robbie – Make em Move, Lonnie Reaves – Too Tough, Colonel Abrams – I’m not Gonna Let, Colonel Abrams – Music is the Answer.

I visited your site almost 10 years ago. I found your url on an old hard drive. I’m glad that you have not closed. That looks like all of my tapes 🙂 I have a box full of them.
Thanks for all the great memories.
