Lost and presumed erased, this moody mix was buried deep in the cassette crate, silently waiting to be unearthed 30 years later. A sinister segue of Full Force / UTFO’s Roxanne Roxanne, and John Carpenter’s ominous theme for Halloween II. The 1985 recording was from Tim Westwood’s Tuesday night Hip Hop show on pirate radio station LWR. Tricky to get a positive ID of the DJ, although the tape also contains mixes by the P Scratch All-stars – DJ Jeeves and Sir Funky.
